Safe Winter Driving Awareness

Castlegar’s transportation experts – Mountain Transport Institute (MTI) – is hosting a FREE course on safe winter driving. This is an opportunity to learn or refresh your knowledge of safe winter driving practices and strategies. Please note that there will be 2 sessions offered on the same day. Please note that this session is for 6:00pm – 7:30pm. There will be another option to register for the afternoon session. Please make sure you have registered for the correct time.
Canada Road Safety Week

It is designed to increase public compliance with safe driving measures in order to save lives and reduce injuries on our roads. This road safety awareness campaign is part of the broader Canada’s Road Safety Strategy 2025, which aims to make Canada’s roads the safest in the world.
